New Graduate Certificate in
Arts in Public Health
The Center for Arts in Medicine is pleased to announce that the Graduate Certificate in Arts in Public Health is accepting applications for Summer and Fall 2014 enrollment. This fully online program is designed to enable graduate students and professionals in public health, the arts, and other health and human services professions to effectively engage the arts to address public health issues. Proposed MA in Arts in Medicine approved by UF Grad Council
The proposed online MA in Arts in Medicine has been approved by the University of Florida Graduate Council. This is a major step in the approval process, and keeps the program on track for full approval in May of 2014. Pending full approval, the program will begin accepting applications in late May 2014 for students who wish to begin the program in late August 2014. Watch our Facebook and web sites for updates.
Dance for PD Training this Summer
The Center for Arts in Medicine is pleased to host the Mark Morris Dance Group's Dance for PD teacher training program, May 30-June 1, 2014, in the UF School of Theatre and Dance. The program will prepare dance teachers to start and teach dance programs for people with Parkinson's disease. Scholarships are available for UF students, with priority given to dance majors.
